This handmade print was created by Kurt Jackson and masted printmaker Simon Marsh for Jackson's 2018 Seacrows exhibition.

These prints result from carborundum (a metal powder/grit) being mixed with an adhesive and then painted onto several transparent sheets.

Once dried, these plates are each inked with a different colour and then printed as overlapping, superimposed combinations to build up the final image.
