Basque Capuchin priest Padre Donostia was not only a proficient composer in variety of genres but also an acclaimed expert of Basque folklore. His piano music is a blend of Basque folk music elements; impressionist influences and his own unique musical language. Spanish pianist Ricardo Requejo represents the perfect interpreter for these colorful works; he is joined by Basque pianist Marina Pintos for Padre Donostia's children's pieces for piano four hands.
