The Ocean Bench is a new addition to the very popular Ocean Collection from Mater, which is a reimagined design from 1955 with an updated touch. The designer Nanna Ditzel has focused on an innovative solution to prevent the pollution of the oceans. This is due to the use of the ocean plastic waste in the production of the Ocean items.

This series is characterised by a light structure and a simple metal frame. Feel free to have a look at the Ocean Chair or Ocean Lounge Chair.

The bench is suitable for outdoor use and comes in three different finishes: Black, Green and Sand.

The Black and Sand Ocean Bench slats are made from discarded fishing nets mixed with recycled hard plastic. One bench contains 3500g / 123oz ocean plastic waste.

The Green OC2 Ocean Chair is made from discarded beer kegs and recycled hard plastic. One bench contains 3800g / 134oz beer keg plastic waste.
