The Strider STEM ADAPTER for 12 Balance Bikes, PSTEMADPT is the bicycle part you need to upgrade your rider’s balance bike with an enhanced handlebar.

Gone are the days of handlebar streamers.  Now kids can have a bike to match their level of awesome.

Use this high-performance adapter to replace a generic handlebar and install any aftermarket Strider Aluminum or Carbon handlebars.
 
Note:  The Strider 12 Sport and 12 Pro bike models each require a specific stem adapter.  Kindly select your bike model in the dropdown above to ensure you receive the correct part.

Sizing & Fit:

• Clamp: 25.4 mm. / Stem Clamp: 28.6 mm.
• Pro Adapter is compatible with 12 Pro only.
• Adapter is compatible with Strider 12 Sport, 12 Classic, and Strider 14x.

Assembly:

1. Loosen stem clamp and remove clamp and existing handlebar from fork steering tube.
2. Place plastic washer over fork tube.
3. Place adapter over plastic washer.
4. Insert center stem into the top of the adapter.
5. Use a hex wrench to tighten the adapter in place, starting from the top. Do not overtighten.
6. Use a hex wrench to remove the four bolts from the clamp.
7. Insert the new handlebar and position.
8. Use a hex wrench to re-attach the face of the handlebar clamp, tightening the screws in an X pattern.
