This is an old-school, all-metal crank elevator centre column assembly for select Gitzo Systematic tripods (or similar). The insert measures approximately 8.4cm across. Cosmetic condition? Rough, with paint and finish wear throughout. But the motion is smooth, and everything works well. Provides easy elevation changes for heavier cameras, and the locking gearbox holds position to prevent the column from slipping under load.
