Gaspard Cabernet Franc is a Loire Valley (Touraine), France Cabernet Franc sourced from organic or sustainably farmed vineyards, made in a fresh, low-intervention style.  It’s typically light to medium-bodied with raspberry and dark cherry up front, then classic Cab Franc savory notes like herbs, green pepper, graphite, and spicy earthy tones, with smooth tannins and bright acidity that make it super food-friendly (it can show a slight spritz in some bottlings).  It’s generally meant to be enjoyed young, usually drinking best within about 3 to 5 years of the vintage, and it’s great lightly chilled with charcuterie, BBQ, roast meats, or rustic pâté.
