About the Photoshoot

On a quiet winter morning at Iceland’s Diamond Beach, I discovered a uniquely shaped piece of ice with a perfect opening carved by nature. I positioned my camera so the frozen frame would lead the eye directly toward the shoreline and distant waves. Using the ice as a natural portal, I wanted to create a sense of discovery—inviting the viewer to look through, rather than simply look at, the landscape.

About the Location – Diamond Beach, Iceland

Diamond Beach is one of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders, where icebergs from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon drift out to sea and return as polished crystal fragments along the black-sand shoreline. Constant wind, waves, and winter light shape the ice into dazzling forms that glow against the volcanic sand. The beach is in a constant state of change, offering photographers endless opportunities to capture something truly one-of-a-kind.
