Alright, let’s talk about the Del Corso Glazed Terra Cotta Fountain - this thing is an absolute unit. Seriously, it’s the heavyweight champ of garden bling. At just 20 inches tall and 22 inches wide, you’d think, “Oh, it’s cute, I’ll just move it myself,” but nah. Even empty, it’s a backbreaker at 126 pounds. Fill it up? You’re pushing 210 pounds - so unless you’re training for strongman competitions, don’t plan on dragging it around the yard solo. The color? Riviera Blue. Not your grandma’s garden gnome blue, either. This one actually looks classy. It pops without screaming for attention - like, “Yeah, I’m gorgeous, but I don’t need to be all up in your face about it.” And the water action? Minimal splash, max chill. Your patio furniture won’t get a surprise shower, which is great if you’re not into soggy cushions. Instead, you get this super mellow echo type of sound - think Zen garden, but with a little urban edge. It’s loud enough that you’ll notice it, but not so much that you can’t hear yourself complain about the neighbors’ lawn mower.
Del Corso Glazed Terra Cotta Fountain Specifications:
We suggest that birdbath/fountain tops not be left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water/snow and freezes, the top may crack. All birdbath/fountain bases, bench legs and statuary should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface. Ideally, a fountain should be stored indoors in the winter away from the elements. However, if a fountain bowl must be left outside, remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials and small components, and cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket/towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze. Fountain pumps, finials, and other small components should be stored indoors. Check the fountain periodically to insure that the cover is secure and water is not accumulating in any fountain component.
