The SPAX 12×400mm A4 Stainless Countersunk FullThread screw is a German-made timber construction screw built for long structural fixings through built-up beams, sleepers and heavy framing. The full-thread design grips along the entire shank for maximum hold in both members being joined. SPAX's 4CUT self-drilling point and ground thread serrations cut cleanly into timber and reduce splitting, even near board edges, while the SPAX T-STAR plus T-50 drive resists cam-out and gives full torque transfer. Milling ribs under the countersunk head let it sit flush in timber and stop neatly on metal. Made from A4 316 marine-grade stainless steel, it resists corrosion in coastal, pool and high-exposure environments where 304 grade isn't enough. We recommend pre-drilling in dense hardwoods.
