'A book written from true experiences through the great World War - December 8th, 1941 - September 22nd 1945.  A long three years' internment under Japanese and explaining how we got along.  This is written to show what the internment in China was like, apart from Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Manilla, and many other places we have never heard of.  Telling of the absolute inhuman behaviour of the Japanese who were over us.'
