The Vaso Uovo is an egg-shaped ceramic vase designed by Aldo Londi for the Rimini Blu collection. Standing 33cm tall with a diameter of 17.5cm, its softly rounded form is wrapped in engraved stencil motifs, abstract and geometric patterns that create a dense, rhythmic surface. The vivid turquoise glaze, layered over hand-brushed cobalt accents, enhances the texture and gives the piece a luminous, sea-inspired finish that shifts with the light.

Each Vaso Uovo is hand-thrown in white refractory clay and finished by Bitossi’s artisans in Montelupo, Italy, using the same techniques developed by Londi in the 1950s. The decoration is applied while the clay is still soft, then glazed and fired to reveal the full depth of colour and detail. This reissue continues a celebrated tradition of Italian ceramic artistry.
