Radiators are designed for one purpose: to absorb heat from the coolant flowing through it, and dissipate the heat.

The SRT-4 OEM radiator and other OEM style radiators are designed with one purpose: to be made as quickly and cheaply as possible. Plastic end tanks are bonded to the aluminum core. Plastic is a very poor conductor of heat and does little to dissipate heat. Two different kinds of materials expand and contract at different rates, and thats why ultimately OEM style radiators with plastic end tanks end up cracking and leaking.

This all aluminum radiator, can withstand heat cycling better than the OEM style plastic and aluminum radiators AND because its much thicker, it has a larger capacity of coolant. This means much better heat dissipation!

This radiator uses all of the stock mounting locations, and has stock style inlet and outlets for your hoses. It works great with AC, and your OEM or oem style fans will work great with this radiator.
