Description:
Marimba player Fumito Nunoya says, "I love performing with an orchestra. One of the reasons is that "I don't feel alone on a big stage, and I can create a piece of music with many friends with all my heart and soul" (from the commentary). He also raises various other factors and talks about the charm of playing with an orchestra, and the performance is as fascinating as his words. This album contains three concertos in different styles. Vivaldi, originally for recorder, an energetic piece by Sejorne composed for the Linz International Competition, and a piece by Takatomi Nobunaga, commissioned by Nunoya, based on the motif of dolphins and the sea, each with a different tune and technique, but all with a wonderful finish that stimulates the listener's inspiration. The compositions are different in tone and technique, but all are wonderfully inspirational. Enjoy this exciting and enthusiastic performance. Naxos Japan
