Girl Band
Description:
An important work that perfectly expresses the destructive impulse of rock, Irish hard-sounding post-punk band Girl band's latest album after 4 years! With their distorted guitar sound, ferocious and solid hard sound, and overwhelmingly passionate vocal style that surpasses the listener's expectations several times over, they have been featured in NME, Pitchfork, and many other media as a promising newcomer even before their debut, and have even visited Japan and made a strong impression with their outstanding performance. Girl Band, a post-punk/noise rock band from Dublin, Ireland, has released their second album "The Talkies" from ROUGH TRADE, four years after their debut album "Holding Hands With Jamie". Since the release of their debut album, the band has been working on demos, composing their own parts, gathering ideas, and then cutting them up and putting them into a computer to create a collage. The original idea for the album was, in many ways, to represent the house in sound," says frontman Alan Duggan, whose alien architectural structure makes the band's radically different sound even more unique, and Daniel Fox, the band's bassist and producer of the album. The drums were recorded once on the dance floor and once in the basement, and the band experimented with incorporating both sounds during the production process," says band bassist and producer Daniel Fox. The band's distinctive guitar sound, which changes dizzyingly as the snare drum explodes, is the perfect expression of rock's destructive impulse. The limited import LP will be released on blue vinyl.
