The Søndergade textile is woven at the Danish weaving mill, Kjellerup Væveri. With a strong tradition of solid craftsmanship, they have been weaving and designing beautiful high-quality textiles for the furniture industry since 1950. Kjellerup Væveri strives to make every product as long-lasting as possible – both in terms of function, quality, and aesthetics. This falls very naturally in line with FDB Møbler’s values and our approach to sustainability, and we are very excited about the collaboration. Textile designer Lykke Bloch Kjær has given the classic ‘horse blanket’ textile new life with colours. The name comes from the weaving mill's address at Søndergade 137 in Kjellerup, Denmark.
