Description:
Wendel Harrison, the founder of the legendary Jazz label "TRIBE" and a saxophone player who has left many great performances since the 70's, released this 1981 album on "WENHA", the successor label of "TRIBE"! The album has been reissued with the latest remastering, and is highly acclaimed for its modern soul and boogie sound that makes full use of Moog and other synthesizers, and has even more 80s feeling than the previous year's "Dreams Of A Love Supreme". The previous year's "Dreams Of A Love Supreme", the first release on "WENHA", the successor label to "TRIBE", retains the spiritual and blackened philosophy of the 70's "TRIBE", while also incorporating the smooth feel of the early 80's. The previous year's album, "Dreams Of A Love Supreme," was a turning point in the history of the band,This follow-up is a piece full of 80's flavor with a more mellow and smooth feeling! The mellow fusion "Ginseng Love" (M1) with its deep chorus and synth sounds, and the smooth instrumental ballad "Winter" (M2) are followed by the disco boogie number "Love Juice" (M3), which is already bewitching from the title. The song is updated to the floor with "Love Juice" (M3), a disco-boogie number that is already bewitching even from the title! The album also includes "The Wok" (M5), one of Wendell Harrison's best-known songs from the 80s with its oriental mellow sound, and has been reissued with the latest remastering!
