Ruby red with garnet highlights, in the nose it expresses nice scents of cherries, violets and red fruit. Great finesse on the palate, thanks to a tannic structure which is still young but of excellent quality. Long, elegant and persistent, it closes with a finish characterised by excellent persistence.

Casanova di Neri's Rosso di Montalcino DOC is made from the grapes grown in vineyards south of Montalcino, in a place where the particular soil, microclimate and attention paid in the vineyard allow Casanova di Neri to harvest simply unique Sangiovese. These perfect conditions that give us a Rosso with character and personality, a "baby" Brunello, which is already capable of astounding us thanks to an intensity and a finesse that are admirable, and is also capable of filling us with emotions as time goes by.

Served throughout a meal, it pairs well with Tuscan cured meets, pasta with ragout and char-grilled red meats.
