A beautiful large Poole Pottery red glazed figure of a cat, approx 30cm/12" tall and 16cm /6 .25" wide.

This stunning piece, designed by Alan Clarke and made in England, has sleek lines and beautiful hand painted decorations around the neck of the sitting cat. Every piece of Poole Pottery is individual and unique. The pieces are made up of layer upon layer of reactive glaze to create Poole's vibrant and bold decoration.

Alan Clarke worked for Poole Pottery from the late 1960s to the early 1980s. His designs often featured bold colours and abstract patterns, reflecting the trends of the time. Clarke's work contributed significantly to the company's reputation for producing modern and stylish pottery. 

This stunning cat is in perfect condition with no chip, cracks or restoration.  It has the Poole Pottery mark on the base.
