Natural Wonder Beauty Concept will release their self-titled debut LP, Natural Wonder Beauty Concept, on Mexican Summer. The project sounds like Seefeel or Boards Of Canada, with dreamy, dense drum programming and atmospheric sounds reminiscent of jungle or quirky ambient, and shows what happens when two talented artists come together. 'This project has given us unbridled creative license. It was an opportunity to try out whatever we felt and whatever our influences were. "Brian and Ana met in New York City in the winter of 2020 after each had released critically acclaimed albums.But because of the pandemic, it was still unclear what the album would mean in the real world. After years of admiring each other's work online, the two finally reunited in the same city after Roxanne moved to New York. A quiet understanding developed between the two as they drove through the suburbs, listening to melancholy acoustic tunes such as Bjork's Telegram, HTRK, and Portishead. Eventually, studio experimentation led to more friendship. As the world moved on, the two toured apart, doing sporadic sessions here and there. Then they reunited again in New York to complete the work with engineer/producer Al Carlson (Oneohtrix Point Never, Jessica Pratt).
