This Suture Pad is designed to mimic the first 6 layers of the abdominal wall. The layers replicate the Epidermis, Dermis, Subcutaneous, first Fascia layer, Muscle, and second Fascia layer. A split muscle belly for a realistic Linea Alba is included on the underside of the pad. Each layer replicates its respective real-life tissue layer. The added Dermis layer in this suture pad makes it especially useful for practicing subcuticular sutures. Practice suturing with various suture patterns, burying sutures, ensuring knot security, and suturing through the Linea Alba.
