In order to meet the different requirements and areas of application of different school types, the equipment set consists of three components.

Student set electrics – basics including universal plug-in board

• Experiments on current flow and basic electrical circuits
• Experiments on the effects of electric current and investigations on selected technical applications

The components of the basic equipment are stowed in a stable plastic tub.
 
Pupil set electrics – supplement induction and AC voltage

• further experiments on electromagnetism and electromagnetic induction

The supplementary set can be stored in the SEG Electrics – Basics tray .
 
SEG Electrics - Complementary Electrostatics, Magnetism and Electrochemistry

• Investigations to illustrate the properties of permanent magnets
• Experiments on the detection and behavior of electric charges
• Experiments on the basics of electrochemistry

The components of this supplementary set are housed in their own tub.
