Woodlife Classic is an EPA-registered, fungicidal preservative that protects against rot and decay. Inhibits surface growth of mold, mildew and staining fungi.

Water repellant resists water damage, including warping, swelling and end-checking. Anti-wicking property resists moisture absorption through end cuts. 100% clear--allows natural wood color to show through and gray naturally.

Paintable, stainable formula extends top-coat life by inhibiting peeling and blistering. Fast, easy clean-up with soap and water.

Pre-treatment by dip method before installation is recommended. Also designed for protection of deck or porch floor end cuts.

If wood is brand new and intended for outdoor installation and exposed to weather conditions for 30 days or less, a “splash test” should be performed to determine if there is any surface barrier present which would repel a new coating. Sprinkle a few drops of water on several areas of the surface to be coated. If the water is absorbed rapidly, the surface is ready to be finished with WOODLIFE^® Classic. If the water beads are not absorbed into the wood, a surface barrier exists and must be removed. Apply or Wolman® Deck & Fence Brightener and then test again. Regardless of the surface’s age or condition, failure to follow proper preparation methods will result in poor adhesion and/or possible coating failure.
