This is the 10th album released after the band left Atlantic, where they had been since their debut, and moved to EMI America. With Joe Wizard, who had made a name for himself through his series of work with Boz Scaggs, as producer, this album marked a new departure for the band, which had previously concentrated on R&B/blues music. The singles "One Last Kiss" and "Take It Back" were smash hits. The album also reached No. 49 in the U.S. and was the first album in a long time to reach gold status.
