World premiere. The world premiere of the live performance of the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Karl Böhm in stereo in 1962, when the maestro was still in the prime of his life. This is the world premiere of a live performance when Böhm was still at the peak of his powers. Böhm's Bra 4 is extremely rare as there are very few live performances. From the very beginning of the performance, there is a nervous and tense atmosphere. This is the typical Böhm who lived in the modern age while being immersed in Romanticism, and it is a strong rationalism. It is the opposite of Furtwängler's dreamy longing. The body is tight and muscular. Listening to this, one can understand that Böhm is a musician of the 20th century.
