Key Ingredients:

Lactic Acid: Lactic acid is a naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid (or AHA) produced by fermentation of sugars. It works as a humectant and exfoliant meaning it effectively hydrates the skin, lightens hyperpigmentation, and increases ceramide production, which is great for strengthening the skin barrier. It is very useful to rejuvenate the skin by encouraging the shedding of old surface skin cells. It can reduce the appearance of fine lines, irregular pigmentation, age spots & decreases enlarged pores. Good choice for first-time acid users or for those with sensitive skin. It has a higher molecular weight than glycolic acid, meaning it does not penetrate the skin as deeply or as rapidly. 

Glycolic Acid : Glycolic Acid is a naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid (or AHA). It can reduce the appearance of fine lines, irregular pigmentation, and age spots & decreases enlarged pores. It has a smaller molecular size than most AHAs so it penetrates the skin more easily. It’s most notable benefits include revitalizing skin tone, reducing wrinkles, increasing the skin’s moisture levels, improving texture and tactile roughness. It is widely used to rejuvenate the skin by encouraging the shedding of old surface skin cells.

Salicylic Acid: Salicylic Acid is an organic beta hydroxy acid or (BHA). Unlike lactic and glycolic acid, it is an oil soluble chemical exfoliant, meaning it can reach deeper into pores to dissolve oil and dead skin that can cause acne and blackheads. AHA's are water soluble, and primarily work on the surface of the skin. Salicylic acid is also anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and a keratolytic agent.

Charcoal Powder: Charcoal Powder absorbs excess oil and removes impurities from hair and skin. This detoxifying ingredient can absorb toxins, impurities and other harmful substances from the skin, leaving it stronger and healthier. Because it can absorb oils, it is an excellent ingredient for oily and acne prone skin types. Also, because it can trap and remove pollutants from skin surface, it is the ideal anti-pollution ingredient.

Saccharide Isomerate: A 100% natural sugar-based humectant that provides excellent moisturizing effects to the skin for extended period of time (up to 72 hours). It creates a moisture reservoir as it binds readily to the skin. It is a deeply moisturizing, plant-derived ingredient based on its unique composition which is similar to that of the carbohydrate complex found in human skin and on its unique ability to bind to skin cells.

Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour: Colloidal oat creates a barrier against the skin when used in skincare products. The hydrated granules of oatmeal adhere to the surface of the skin and provide a film attracting humidity and reducing friction. Great for sensitive or irritated skin. Soothes stressed and blemished and skin and helps to relieve dry and itchy skin.
