SKB ATA DNA

SKB ATA cases are designed and constructed to exceed the Airline Transportation Association’s strict specification 300, category 1 standard for transport container design that ensures a product’s ability to withstand a minimum of 100 trips by air. SKB ATA cases are thermoformed using ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, a US military–specified material that is impervious to solvents, oils, fuels, and acids. Molded-in bumpers and ribs are designed to absorb shock and vibration while also protecting exposed hardware. Additional features include external molded-in ribs for superior rigidity; an aluminum valance with a tongue-and-groove closure & neoprene o-ring gasket to keep out moisture; heavy-duty, field-replaceable latches, including TSA-approved locking latches; cushioned, rubber-over-molded handles; and quiet-glide wheels for easy transport.
