The NIkon F is Nikon's first SLR, first produced in 1959. That's more than 60 years ago, and despite all that the F is still just as practical to use today as it was when it was introduced. Controls are easy to understand, mechanical design is unfussy, and it's compatible with any Nikon F-mount lens that has its own aperture ring. This F is from 1960 and still has Nippon Kogaku branding on the top panel, which is fun. The original unmetered prism has a small dent at the very peak of the housing, which is typical but still worth noting; the camera is in excellent condition otherwise, with minor cosmetic wear and original coverings. Good light seals, accurate shutter speeds.
