1960 Harley Davidson XLCH Ironhead Sportster. The Ironhead captures the era when American riders were embracing lighter and sportier motorcycles which makes the XLCH a significant model in the Sportster lineage. Some say the CH stood for "Competitive Hot" designed as a street legal scrambler as well as an off road bike where many were used on track & desert riding. Close to original! Customer was a long time collector and had this repainted in stock Harley Davidson Hi Fi Blue/Birch White at Palermo Auto ($3500.00). There were over 80 hours alone in rebuilding and polishing the wheels. The speedo is not on the bike but we do have the original bracket. Mileage on the clean Pa title reads exempt so original miles are unknown. After the gentleman passed away it was passed down to his grandson.
