Off the shelf orthotics are suitable for mild to moderate problems. Individuals with more severe problems require podiatry assessment and orthotic prescription a process which provides custom made orthotics. Off the shelf orthotics can be a very effective and inexpensive way to solve less severe biomechanical issues such as pronation and calcaneus valgus (flattening of the medial arch and accompanying outward deformity of the heel bone)

The insoles are sold in a unisex UK sizing. Order your usual UK size as the the orthotics are manufactured with a large front footbed that can be trimmed if required using your existing trainers insole / footbed to ensure a custom fit to your shoe.
