This is a heavy stirrup  cast in a silver coloured metal (probably an alloy).
It comes from Latin America, most probably Peru.
It has suspension arch with a loop for the stirrup leather and cast decoration . It pivots around the base of the stirrup.
The base is foot shaped and has pierced decoration.
The toe was functional as well as decorative, it covered the front of the foot, preventing it from slipping through the iron and getting trapped.
It is decorated with a cast and pierced design of scrolling plumes or feathers. There is a central gold coloured rose.

There are no maker's marks or stamps.
