My first new painting since my Summer 24 exhibitions, this is a second working of my Lir concept, based on overlapping sketches of shadows and wave shapes seen out to sea on the North Coast of Ireland. 

Lir is an Irish mythological sea god, not so much god of the sea, but a god embodied as the sea, as far as I understand it!
