The combination of a true horn shoe horn combined with an antique label announcing it as such gives me great pleasure--because, of course, a shoe horn takes its name from being made of horn so the label makes this horn actually triply defined. And the underline of "shoe" makes it even better, so as to be sure to distinguish it from a piece of horn to be used for some other purpose. Plus its just beautiful, surface wise and sculpturally, from both sides. To my sensibilities, perfectly succinct and complete thing.
