The Advance Veterinary Cat Gastroenteric Digestion Sensitive 1.5 kg is a complete food for cats with intestinal problems such as diarrhea, poor digestion and food intolerance.
Healthy gut function is important for a healthy cat. However, many cats experience intestinal and digestive problems, such as acute and chronic diarrhea; vomiting; indigestion; intolerances to certain nutrients and ingredients; but also pancreatic insufficiency; inflammatory bowel disease; lymphangiectasia; and hyperlipidemia. The food is a source of selected proteins, such as turkey and pea protein for animals with sensitive digestive systems, and contains prebiotics (FOS) and Omega-3 for the development of intestinal flora and reduced inflammation. This protects the intestines, facilitates digestion, and reduces the risk of food intolerances. Sepiolite reduces stool production, and triglycerides promote the digestion and absorption of nutrients. Furthermore, the food is supplemented with vitamin B12 to compensate for hypocobalaminemia in cats with gastrointestinal disorders or pancreatitis.
