These silent serpents slide across the land mouths open. This eco-friendly ceremonial hand crafted rattle is designed and executed by the Peruvian artist. The etchings on the rattle's bowl can slightly vary. Featuring either two different serpents or two similar, one per side. The handle of this sound maker is constructed of very strong chonta wood and the bowl is made from a native gourd. The rattle is trimmed on the tip of the handle with colorful molted Amazon bird feathers. Colorful cotton thread is wound both above and below the gourd bowl.
