Richly decorated with a continuous frieze of Bacchanalian putti harvesting grapes and celebrating the vintage. The finely modelled relief panels are framed by classical borders and raised on three decorative feet with fruiting grape vine motifs. The interior retains a warm copper tone typical of quality French silver plate of the period.
