Style THELMASHAWL is a knitwear pattern instructions.

The pattern comes in a PDF file, and can be downloaded and printed from the computer.

Suggested yarns:

Hand dyed fine organic merino from Thelma Steimann with a high twist, the yarn is 100% Organic merino wool. Approx 365m/100g in each skein. Wonderful and soft base to work with.

Fine organic col 1 : 1

Fine organic col 2 : 1

The scarf used approximately 50 gr of each color, one hank of Fine merino weights 100 gr, so there is enough yarn to make 2 scarfs.

Kid silk mohair : 1 (divide the skein in 2 balls)

Hand dyed kid silk mohair from Thelma Steimann, the yarn is a mixture of brushed 72% Kid mohair and 28% silk singles , it ́s lightweight luxurious mohair yarn, super soft and fantastic to work with. Approx 420m/50gr in each skein.

Tension gauge sample

Make sure to check your own tension before starting to knit. Cast on 18 (or total of 36) stitches, with Fine Organic and Kid silk mohair, 19 rows on needles 4,5 mm of double knitting for a 10 x 10 cm sample. If tension measures too tight, change to a thicker needle. If tension measures too wide, change to a thinner needle.
