Effects of this medicine
This medicine inhibits gastric acid secretion by inhibiting enzyme activity of the proton pump in the gastric mucosa.
It is usually used for treatment of gastric/duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease, etc., and for suppression of recurrence of gastric/duodenal ulcer associated with low-dose aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug medication.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・For treatment of gastric/duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, etc.: In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (30 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day.
For maintenance therapy of repeatedly recurrent/relapsing reflux esophagitis: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (15 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day. The dosage may be increased up to 2 tablets (30 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day, if the effect is insufficient.
For treatment of non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (15 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day.
For suppression of recurrence of gastric/duodenal ulcer associated with low-dose aspirin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug medication: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (15 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day.
Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

・If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicines or foods.
If you have liver disorder.

・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
