How Long Does a SoClean 2 Filter Last?

The SoClean check valve assembly and cartridge filter should have a replacement check every six months. The SoClean cartridge filter should also be regularly wiped with a damp cloth to get rid of dust. You’ll see a reminder message on the display to let you know that your SoClean filters are due for cleaning and that it’s time to get a replacement cartridge filter kit.

When your SoClean filter is due for replacement, the kit already includes everything you need. Every SoClean Filter Kit includes one replacement check valve and one replacement filter cartridge.

Is There a Difference between SoClean and SoClean 2?

There are a few differences between the SoClean and SoClean 2 models. One is not better than the other, and it’s all a matter of preference and lifestyle. Generally, SoClean 2 is ideal for those who regularly travel with their CPAP machine. Compared to SoClean, SoClean 2 is much smaller and produces a smaller carbon footprint than the original SoClean. There is also an easy to read display to make it easier to manage each cycle. Both the SoClean and SoClean 2 need to be plugged into a power socket when in use.

If you notice water buildup in your SoClean, we recommend making sure your check valve is working correctly; otherwise, it may be time to purchase a replacement.

The carbon filter converts activated oxygen back to regular oxygen as it leaves the SoClean 2 sanitizing chamber after running through your CPAP machine and supplies. For the best results, the cartridge filter kit and check valve should be replaced every six months to keep your SoClean 2 Sanitizer in good working condition.

How To Change SoClean Filter

• Take filter out or packaging and remove all white stickers from top and bottom of filter cartridge before placing in device
• Locate the black rubber band on the backside of the filter
• Place filter in SoClean 2 CPAP Cleaner with rubber band facing the back of the device
