Quentin Tarantino writes and directs this American action thriller starring Uma Thurman, David Carradine and Lucy Liu. The Bride (Thurman) makes up one fifth of a team of assassins called DiVAS. Her boss, Bill (Carradine), does not support her decision to leave the outfit and get married, however, and instructs her former accomplices to murder her on her wedding day, leaving a devastating bloodbath in their wake.

After somehow surviving the ordeal, four years later The Bride sets out on a journey of revenge on the path to kill her ultimate enemy: Bill.
