Part of the Edelbrock Performer Series, the Edelbrock carburetor 1405 is precisely tuned and engineered to deliver consistent, reliable street performance in small-block and some big-block engines. It is available with a manual choke and features a two-piece, all-aluminum construction that is resistant to warping and compatible with gasohol and blended fuels. The satin-finished 600 cfm, 4-barrel carburetor uses metering rods to transition between circuits, leaving it unaffected by engine backfires—plus, the rods can be changed in seconds without removing the carburetor or draining the fuel. Other features include simple tub-type bowls, rear-pivot floats, and non-adjustable secondary air valves.
