A vision in chartreuse green silk chiffon and embellished with golden glass bugle beads and statement rounded gold beads, this original 1960's cocktail suit is just the piece to add to your collection. 

The rounded neckline of the blouse, is framed by a rolled silk piped edge. The simple shoulder line, sets off the short length sleeves which are finished with matching rolled silk piped edges. The elegant box cut of the blouse, is accented by tailored darts along each side of the bust-line. Finished with a bugle bead embellished hemline and embellished with a trailing beaded pattern throughout. This blouse is lined in silk. 

The matching skirt, boasts a simple fitted waistband, which draws in along the side seam with a zip and hook and eye fastening. The tailored darts which run from below the waistband, set off the elegant longline silhouette, whilst allowing for the blouse to sit perfectly above the top part of the skirt.  Finished with side vents along either side seam,  completing this set in a truly iconic 1960's design.

Condition: This set is in near perfect vintage condition. Two small pin holes to the silk chiffon overlay of the skirt along the front of the hipline area. A scattering of small holes to the silk chiffon overlay along the front right hand side of the skirt-line above the hemline area. Natural and very light bead loss to the blouse. These minor issues are in no way apparent when the suit is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
